Arabinose (arabinose) is often combined with other monosaccharides and exists in the form of heteropolysaccharides in plant fruit pulp, colloids, hemicellulose, and pectic acid. Natural L-arabinose can be obtained from D-xylose by uridine diphosphate derivatives by enzymatic isomerisation reaction, and can also be extracted from arabinoxylan in corn husk hemicellulose.
